Individual counselling

What happens in individual counselling and how?
Psychological counseling is a counselling-focused psychological intervention, based on a situational assessment diagnosis, aimed at resolving a current life situation, and improving the strength of mind and coping.
After contacting me, a first meeting will take place to discuss the framework and focus on your situation, condition and issue, which will lead to a verbal contract for the counselling process.
The length of the counselling process (number of sessions) may depend on the topic, focus and self-awareness needs.
You can contract for a definite number of sessions (e.g. 5-10-15 sessions) or for an indefinite number of sessions.
In the process of the counselling, we hold our sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. For less frequent sessions, we do not talk about a process, but about occasional consultations - usually requested after a completed counselling process.
